This has been one of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned these last years. Being aware of the energies of my cycle has allowed me to honor and integrate each part of it. I used to think that menstruation was a curse, now I am longing it to happen. It doesn’t mean I don’t suffer from cramps and moodiness, but I take this time as mandatory rest and allow the suffering to just be there. Not only my body is cleansing and releasing, but also my mind and spirit. Knowing the powers of each part of the cycle allows me to don’t force myself into certain activities and also to take advantage of the increased abilities. It helped me to understand that I don’t have to be the same person I was yesterday. I am in constant evolution synchronized with the forces of Mother Earth, and that's freaking amazing!
